KYT Transaction Details

The transaction details page shows the full result of one Transaction Trust Monitoring (TTM) screening: the decision, the fraud score, the rules that were triggered, the signals detected, and the transaction, customer and beneficiary data that was screened.

info

Open a transaction by clicking its row in Reports > KYT Reports. The page opens in a new browser tab. It is available when Transaction Monitoring (KYT) is enabled for your account and your role has the permission to view verification details.

Decision and Summary

The top of the page shows:

  • Decision: APPROVED, DECLINED, MANUAL REVIEW, or the name of a custom decision. A message under it gives the decision reason, or a standard message such as "Transaction Screening has been successfully completed and approved."
  • Transaction Amount and Transaction ID (with a copy button), plus the date and time in UTC.
  • Customer Details: the customer's ID, name, email address, country, date of birth and phone number, as submitted.
  • Access info: the location, IP address, internet service provider and browser of the session.
  • View Rule Hit: scrolls to the triggered rules.

Changing a Manual Review Decision

When the decision is MANUAL REVIEW, an edit icon (Update Status) appears next to it. Click it to open Decision Control:

  1. Choose Approve or Decline.
  2. Enter a reason (required, up to 200 characters).
  3. Click Update decision.

Fraud Score and Risk Level

The Fraud Score panel shows the transaction's score as a percentage, with a risk badge:

ScoreBadge
0 to 30LOW RISK
31 to 69MEDIUM RISK
70 to 100HIGH RISK

Fraud Score Summary

The Fraud Score Summary card gives a short written explanation of the result. When the screening engine has written an AI-generated summary for the transaction, that summary is shown. Otherwise the card shows a standard summary based on the result, for example "The transaction doesn't have any suspicious indicators that fit recent fraud patterns."

When AI rules are enabled for your account, the page also shows these AI cards when the engine provides them:

  • Tier Classification: the alert tier assigned from the score, rules and risk indicators, for example Tier 1 alert, Tier 2 alert or No Alert.
  • False Positive Assessment: an assessment with a False Positive Likelihood value.
  • Closure Recommendation: the recommended next step: AUTO-CLOSE, REVIEW, ESCALATE, SAR ALERT or HOLD/BLOCK.

Fraud Rule Triggers and Signals

Triggered Rules

Triggered Rules lists every rule that matched the transaction. For each rule you see:

  • the rule name, which opens the rule in a new tab
  • a Best Match badge on the rule the engine marked as the best match
  • the rule's action, for example REVIEW or DECLINE
  • the Rule ID, Risk Domain and Version

If no rule matched, the section shows "No rules triggered".

Signals

Signals lists the risk indicators detected on the transaction. Each signal has a category (User, Transaction, Seller, Funding Source, Geo Location or User Contact Details), a description, and a colour showing whether it is bad, neutral or good. If none were detected, the section shows "No risk signals detected". Depending on your account configuration, the Signals section may not be shown.

Transaction, Customer and Beneficiary Details

The details cards show the data submitted with the transaction. Fields that were not sent show a dash.

  • Transaction & Payment Details: Transaction ID, time stamp, amount, currency, payment method, account balance, source of wealth, bank IBAN, bank name, bank BIC, BIN country, BIN brand and transaction threshold.
  • Customer & Account Details: account ID, account age and account creation date.
  • Platform & Device Details: platform ID, device ID and device score.
  • Merchant Details: NAICS, MCC, average sales price, merchant currency, merchant name and high-risk industry.
  • Beneficiary Details: the beneficiary's ID, name, email, phone, date of birth, nationality, bank details and BIN country and brand.
  • Geolocation: a map with the IP address location, country, zip code and phone timezone.

When AI rules are enabled for your account, the device score, the Merchant Details card, and the beneficiary's email, phone, date of birth and bank BIC are not shown.

AML Checklist

When the transaction's AML screening returned a potential match or a match, a View AML Checklist link appears in Triggered Rules and in Beneficiary Details. It opens the AML screening result in a new tab. There you can review the match cards and update each match's status (Potential Match, False Positive, True Positive - Decline or True Positive - Accept).

Linked Transactions

Linked Transactions lists your other transactions from the last six months that share a value with this one, up to 100 transactions. A transaction is linked when it has the same:

  • Customer ID
  • Customer Email
  • Customer Name
  • Customer Phone
  • IP Address
  • Device ID

Use the Filter by options to see links on one attribute, and sort by Show most recent or Show most Linked. The table shows each linked transaction's ID, the parameters it has in common, its amount and its decision. Click a row to open that transaction in a new tab.

Downloading the Report as PDF

Click the download icon (Click to download transaction report) at the top of the page to save the details as a PDF file. The PDF does not include Linked Transactions or the AML checklist links. When AI rules are enabled for your account, the download icon is not shown.

Personal Data

PII data hiding (masking of customer details) applies to the KYT Reports listing and the alert detail page, not to this page. The transaction details page and its PDF show the data as submitted.
