Quick Start
This page is the shortest path from "TTM isn't set up yet" to "a test transaction lands with the right reviewer." It assumes no prior TTM knowledge — each step links to the full page covering it.
1. Enable TTM for your account
Transaction Trust Monitoring is enabled per account by Shufti, alongside the Rule Builder. If you don't see TTM in your Back Office, ask your account contact to turn it on before continuing — this isn't a setting you can switch on yourself.
2. Authenticate with your API credentials
TTM uses the same client_id and secret_key pair as the rest of the Shufti API — there's no separate credential to generate for TTM specifically. See Offsite Integration for the full authentication and request reference.
3. Configure your rules
Build your detection rules in the Rule Builder: pick a typology, set the conditions (a single value, an aggregate over a time window, or a comparison against another value), set a priority, and choose a decision (Approve, Decline, Manual Review, or Watch). Backtest the rule against historical transactions before publishing it, and group related rules into a rule set if you want them scoped to a specific customer type or business line.
See How It Works? → Rule Builder for the full guide.
4. Submit a test transaction
Send a transaction to POST /create/transaction with your test data. See Offsite Integration for the request fields, and Complete List of Datapoints for everything TTM accepts.
5. Review the result
If the transaction wasn't auto-approved, it's now sitting as an alert in the Alert Queue, routed to the reviewer tier its score band decides. See Alert Routing and Review Tiers for exactly how that routing works, and Configuring Review Tiers in the Back Office to make sure your review tiers are staffed before you run this step.
Store the score, decision, and evidence from POST /create/transaction's response at the time you receive it — that response is the record your integration should keep. Your compliance team can review and act on the transaction afterwards from the Back Office.
